I was born in Estado Boliver, Venezuela. From an early age, I demonstrated an aptitude for art, and my natural artistic talent was recognized by Art Critics such as Cesar Caroni, who once wrote, "Marina Rondon has been recognized as a valuable contributor to national culture in Venezuela. In her extensive artistic work, she has presented lots of collective expositions with a variety of her paintings and sculptures, including figurative and still life. In this context, she presents on one side post-Impressionism, Impressionism, Fauvism, Cubism and Impressionism which she calls, 'antiform' because she has created her own character and style."

I was greatly influenced by my surroundings. My backyard was the ocean, and my home was next to the river in La Salina, Cuidia. The Ocean breezes and looking out at the sea made me feel God's love and gave me a feeling of security and of always having a presence around me. I have studied with art masters Luis Alfredo Lopez Mendez, Pedro Centeno Vellenilla, Luis Lagard, Giberto Ramirez and Roberto Gonzales. I also studied in Holland, at the Escuela de Arte in Amsterdam and Laguna, Spain to perfect my artistic style.

I utilize a mix of styles in my paintings, including Cubism, post Impressionism, and Fauvisma. I employ a range of scenes from figures to still life to more modern paintings of geometric shapes and designs. I have a flair for color and textures. I am a member of the Association Internationale des Arts Plastiques. My paintings have sold from galleries in South America and Europe. I now live in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
